Tineke Verkade’s book provides an excellent resource for Alpaca owners who wish to pursue the options of natural care for their Alpaca herds.

This book outlines the health issues of Alpaca and suggests a variety of useful and natural supplements with which to treat them.  There is an excellent user-friendly index taking owners from the “ground up” right through from …Alpaca care and well being, to … a list of suppliers from which to source the recommended treatments and supplements.  Now, how much easier could that be!

Given Tineke’s extensive qualifications in natural health care, including her valuable contribution assisting dairy farmers throughout New Zealand, the Alpaca fraternity is indeed fortunate that Tineke has turned her skills to addressing the needs of the Alpaca.
